  Milena and her daughter were the perfect hosts and guests. We loved their sunny apartment - even more lovely than the photographs suggest, as it's a hard space to do justice to - and they really made us feel at home. Communication was always excellent and clear, and the location was great. They looked after our house and cat beautifully too. Highly recommended.

• A brilliant base from which to explore Berlin

  Milena's apartment is beautiful and in a charming neighbourhood with cafes, food markets and chic shops on the doorstep. There were welcome flowers and Easter goodies and we felt immediately at home. Having spent all day walking around the various trendy and interesting districts of Berlin, it was great to get home and relax around the big kitchen table over a casual supper and a bottle of wine. Can't fault it and would happily return.
