  • Lots of space and comfortable

Maire's place is lovely and very comfortable. From there we were able to do several day trips to local areas of interest. As we had lots planned we generally just spent the night at her home and were on the road during the day sightseeing. Marie is very friendly and accommodating.

  • Marie met us and provided a most generous and thoughtful grocery basket. There was ample information about what and where to explore. We enjoyed the comfortable and relaxed home and its surroundings.

  • Very welcoming host in a lovely part of Ireland.

We loved staying in Marie's second home on the East coast of Ireland close to Curracloe Beach. This expansive, wild beach is gorgeous to visit with nature trails (full of juicy blackberries just ripe for the picking). The house is very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen- I made a crumble out of those blackberries. If you catch the ferry from Rosslare, the house is very convenient to start or finish your Irish tour. We did day trips to Johnstown Castle with its attractive gardens, visited Waterford crystal and enjoyed the informative walking tour in Wexford for the local history. Otherwise we were happy to chill out enjoying walking around the local area and having a drink with the friendly locals at the pub after driving many kilometres in other parts of Ireland. Marie is a great host even driving down from near Dublin to greet us a day earlier than we had originally planned. We loved all the local Irish foods she left us to try.

  • Marie's home was just perfect for our family time at the beach. Thank you so much.

  • A most comfy home. Very warm and inviting .

I loved our stay in Wexford. We met wonderful people. Our hostess was so kind to us. We cannot express our feelings for her enough. We wish her future happiness.

  • Non-simultaneous exchange

We were so wonderfully looked after by Marie. Met with a bag of lovely food to get us started at her 2nd home in Curracloe. We had problems with our hire car and she got us sorted on that also. The hospitality extended to my sister and I was above and beyond. I can't wait to extend same to her when she arrives here in Tasmania. Thank you Marie, Helen

  • Fantastic home in a lovely little village.

We had a marvelous time here and Marie was so obliging and helpful. Looking forward to seeing her Australia.

  • Fantastic location and house

a few blocks from beach. easy access to many sightseeing locations. We had a wonderful exchange with a very friendly exchanger.

  • House near the sea.

Marie very kindly let us stay in the house over Easter. It is situated beside a lovely hotel, and a beautiful long beach. We visited Dunbrody famine ship, Hook lighthouse, Johnston castle and gardens, Enniskerry, Wells house, Tintern Abbey and ate delicious fresh fish. This is a beautiful part of Ireland and there's lots to do. The house is beautifully maintained and very comfortable.
