Third brilliant exchange with Katy and Neil. We love their home (beautiful and very spacious), its location (overlooking the river), and the coastline of Devon. It's so easy to communicate with them, we feel we really know them, even though we've only ever met them once, briefly! Hoping for more exchanges with them in the future, and more walks in this beautiful part of the country!

This didn't actually happen because of Covid - but if it had, I know it would have been as brilliant as last time. Looking forward to exchanging again with the lovely family at some point in the future

Waking up to an incredible view in a house full of atmosphere, a possibility to stay in shape - during vacation - in the exercise room, taking a game of pool with your kids, strolling down to the pub for an afternoon "before dinner drink", fresh raspberries from the garden for breakfast and then the amazing Dartmoor National Park so close by and the cozy Teignmouth/Shaldon practically around the corner also. Nothing could be better.

This is a home from home, really comfortable, beautiful, interesting, lots of books everywhere, and lots of spaces for people to be without getting in each other’s way. Best thing for the kids was the amazing “ballroom” - full of things like table tennis table, drumkit, rowing machine, and space for teenagers to hang around. Best place for parents: sofa in the kitchen, a sunny spot from which you have a lovely view of the river Teign through the French windows. Great garden too. Would love to return!

We spent 2 wonderful weeks at Kittoes. The house is even better than how it looks in the photos. It is comforable and very cozy. The kids really enjoyed the ping pong table, the TV room and the garden while we gathered around in the kitchen. There are plenty of places to visit and activities for families around the area, we didn't waste our time at all! Besides, the Hanley's were also perfect guests in our house. Thanks for sharing with us.

We spend two wonderful weeks in Kittoes Cottage, Bishopsteignton, a huge house with lots of historic details and flair! Beautifully located in the little village at the river and with a wonderful garden, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We had a rental car and explored so many interesting places (stately homes, castles, parks, museums) in Devon and Cornwall, but our children (6 and 8 years) surely enjoyed the Dartmoor most, a national park, only a 20-minute drive away, perfect for walks, hiking, climbing, experiencing animals and nature. We had our best picknicks there with most stunning and beautiful views! We can definitely recommend this home exchange! Thank you!

A great location to explore the Devon coast and Exeter. The Hanley's are sensible, hospitable , chilled out folk, great to swap with. Their home is stunning,; part of a larger Victorian Villa with some quirky, and some grand features. Nerdy Fact: (I am a landscape Architect) The garden (with grape vines!) was once part of a ten acre garden aid out by Sir Joseph Paxton. enough said!
