This was our first visit to this area of Scotland and Jim & Mary's comfortable, rural, peaceful and spacious bungalow was centrally located for easy visits to Edinburgh, Stirling, Falkirk, Perth, St Andrew's, Dundee, etc. The bungalow has pleasant views at the front and back of grassland with grazing deer and dramatic hills. There are plenty of walking paths locally and visitors must be sure not to miss the Rumbling Bridge & Gorge which is only a couple of miles away - especially breathtaking in wet weather! We had been worried about the midges but in the end it was rain that was more prevalent, but we didn't let it spoil our enjoyment. All in all a wonderful spot where you can do as much or as little as you like with plenty of walking, places to visit, lochs, castles and palaces.
