Descripción de la casa que ofrecemos en intercambio
3 bed house in Coastal location in beautiful scenery and walking area, half an hour's drive from Whangarei town, near Mt Manai. Spectacular sea and mountain views walk down the drive, over the road and onto the beach! Or go fishing or kayaking or swimming. Snorkelling in Marine Reserves, two nearby. Great walking from the door and within a short drive. It is possible to connect from Auckland airport to Whangarei and then local private bus to the property

Descripción de nuestro barrio y la zona en que se encuentra
The peninsular has lovely scenery and beaches either side for both safe swimming and boating or for surfing etc. There are lots of things to do locally, even a local cafe within walking distance and a pub in the next village. Locally there is a Club for non-members where food can also be enjoyed. There are some adventure activities close by and in Whangarei there are lots of things to do, galleries, museums, including the famous Hunderwasser, garden, waterfalls, golf clubs. It is well known as a habitat for Kiwi birds!! Some of things like theatre and shopping that are ticked are more for the Whangarei area of the town not the hamlet of Mcleod Bay. The next bay, Parua Bay, has a very good mini supermarket, garage for fuel, bakery and so on. Within walking distance is the cafe with take away food too.

Lo qué nos gusta y lo qué no... Estas son nuestras preferencias y normas domésticas.
Although the house is partly furnished with older items and in 1970's style, the bathroom is more recent and all the beds have decent beds and mattresses. It is important to us that everything is left clean and tidy but a cleaner may be available if you prefer. We ask that no feathers are brought into the house in the form of pillows, duvets, down jackets etc. Our family has allergies and we advertise the property to rent as allergy free. No smoking, no drugs, no pets. No late night parties or loud noise. No visitors to stay overnight unless by prior arrangement. We do not mind children staying and in fact offer a high chair and travel cot and a few toys and games, providing any breakages are sorted and everything left clean and tidy. The lawns are looked after so the outdoor care may mean just watering plant pots and a few plants as required.
