We offer a nice house in the city centre of Amsterdam, capital city of The Netherlands. We live on one of the islands in the former Docklands Area in the lake IJ. The island is connected by two bridges to the rest of the city-centre and with a ferry to the north side of the city. Cargo and sailing ships are passing by in front of the house.

The neighborhood is quiet and safe. From the windows of our sitting room, you have a wide view of the lake and the north of Amsterdam. Thera are lots of houseboats in the area. You find cafe’s, restaurant and shops on the island itself and its surroundings, all on walking distance. There is also motorboat and sailing ship hire on the island.

Also you will find public transport on walking distance. The bus stop is almost in front of the house. It takes 8 minutes to the Central (train and bus) Station. A five minutes walk to the tram gives a direct connection to all major museums. A direct ferry goes to 'hipster' neighbourhood of Amsterdam-North.
