Colli Euganei is the Italian name for Euganean Hills (pic n°2), a group of hills of volcanic origin that are located on the southern western area of Padua. Around the perimeter of the park, there are some tourist destinations that are worth a visit, as well as the natural landscapes and the archeological remains that testify the life of ancient civilizations.
The highest point is Monte Venda at 601 metres above sea level and the territory has been inhabited since prehistoric times.
Today, it is made up of 15 comune of impressive interest for the visitor.

The 'Parco Regionale dei Colli Euganei' has created a special guide to over 200 paths and routes for exploring the zone. Most are signposted and are perfect for excursions on foot or by bike.The suggested trails by bike follow the perimeter of the Euganean Hills and include wine cellars, castles, ville and natural landscapes. In the Euganean Hills there are also the Euganean Spas of Abano, Montegrotto, Galzignano Terne, ideal places for a vacancy immersed in the nature, light sport, relax and for those who are at the discovery of an healthy and varied cuisine and of natural products offered by a generous earth, such as the wine Fior d'Arancio, extra virgi oil of the Hills, the “brodo di giuggiole “ and much more else.
