We had some great walks around Ben Bulben, Knocknarea, Strandhill, Glencar. We could easily have spent a week exploring more places. Maureen's house is immaculate and very comfortable and we felt really at home there. I would very happily exchange again!

Maureen's house is just a ten minute walk away from the town centre and it was a treat for us to access not just the shops, but also one of the many festivals that Sligo seems to hold. There are also plenty of places to visit not far away and the scenery is stunning of course. We were very comfortable in Maureen's immaculate home which was situated in a very quiet location. The house was very well prepared for the exchange, with plenty of helpful information left for us. Maureen was a very considerate exchange partner. Swapping cars worked very well, as did the whole exchange. We had a great holiday. Thank you Maureen!

Read More...We spent a week in Maureen’s home in Sligo at the beginning of August 2021. When we arrived a lovely afternoon tea awaited us and the making of a lovely salad was in the fridge. Maureen’s home was spotlessly clean and comfortable. All our needs were met. The house is in a very good location to explore the town. We explored all the local tourist spots. Even though the weather wasn’t beach weather we did get out for some lovely walks in Rosses Point and Strandhill. We enjoyed some lovely meals out and we would highly recommend Donaghy’s bar and Coach Lane Restaurant just a few minutes walk from the house on the outskirts of Sligo town. We also really enjoyed lunch at Lyons’s Cafe and an evening meal in Driftwood out in Rosses Point. Thank you so much Maureen for your warm hospitality. We would highly recommend Maureen and her lovely home for any future exchanges.

A fridge full of fresh food and a big welcome from her friend. Her home was spotless, with a lovely sunny back garden. We felt very much at home and would go back. We are very happy with this exchange.
