Sun filled colourful, peaceful and uplifting, our large family home is just 4-minute drive to popular Leura Village or an easy 18 mn walk. We are 3.9 km from the popular tourist attraction Echo Point Three Sisters in Katoomba. The house has a big deck overlooking a huge back garden. Sit out on the deck at night and watch the stars.

Leura is the Blue Mountains' prettiest town, fashioned around undulating streets, well-tended gardens and sweeping Victorian verandahs. Leura Mall, the tree-lined main street, offers rows of country craft stores boutiques and cafes. (there is also a large supermarket with convenient parking). Blue Mountains Music Festival is happening on 16,17,18 March 2018.
There's so much to see and do in the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains. From attractions and bush walks through to gardens and golf. Enjoy the fresh mountain air. Activities in the Blue Mountains include rockclimbing, canyoning, and abseiling.
Named after the region’s blue haze that some attribute to oil droplets from over a million hectares of eucalyptus trees, the Greater Blue Mountains world heritage area is an otherworldly landscape of sandstone river gorges, waterfall-threaded cliffs, and ancient plants and animals from the glossy black cockatoo to the ancient Wollemi pine.
The Blue Mountains is a succession of townships from the foot of the mountains to the top of the mountain range which collectively are the Blue Mountains. Leura is placed in the upper mountains just before Katoomba and just after Wentworth Falls. It is a particularly leafy and picturesque town with gorgeous gardens and sublime views. It is perhaps the most cosmopolitan town in the mountains with great eateries and shopping.
Getting around
There is a bus stop 100 metres from the property which can take you into the town centre. There is also a railway line which runs from Sydney's CBD all they way through the Mountains including a stop in the centre of Leura. Most people though drive to the mountains which can take from 90 to 120 minutes depending on traffic. There is a great Hop On, Hop Off Trolley service that takes people all over Leura and Katoomba (which are adjacent), stopping at key tourist locations.Thanks
