We live in a rural area, but old and famous cities like Amsterdam and Brussels can easily be reached.
The "Loonse en Drunense duinen" ( the largest sand-drift area in the Netherlands ) is very nearby. Furthermore the national park "De Biesbosch" (a large wetland area) is only a 20 minutes drive away.
The environment is excellent for biking. There are many roads where only bikes are allowed, so it is safe for children also.
We have 1 e-bike for adults available. You can rent bikes in the neighborhood, e.g. Cycle center Post in Kaatsheuvel.
If you like theme parks, this is the place to be. The famous theme park "Efteling" is just about 4 kilometers away.
The sea shore is about a 1 hour drive. You can go to a very large sandbeach like "Vrouwenpolder" or the more mondain area of Scheveningen, near The Hague.
