Very quiet, beautiful, quaint 3 bedroom, 2 bath country cottage in the middle of 33 acres of tall pines, oaks and cedars with wonderful screened porches and covered patios, custom crafted by the us 10 years ago. It is the perfect place to relax, watch the birds and wildlife, hike on the property, feed the donkey, and generally unplug from the cares of the world. 45 minutes to and hour from downtown Austin's music and restaurant scene, Lady Bird Lake, the airport, Circuit of the Americas, ACL Music Festival, Lake Travis, Bastrop State Park. 1-1/2 hour from the Texas Hill Country, 2 hours from Houston and San Antonio, 3 hours from Dallas.

Our country cottage is located in the historic Paint Creek area. We are situated in a secluded 36 acre wooded rural setting in midst of large cattle and horse ranches mostly owned by the same families since the civil war.

The Paige Roadhouse is only 10 minutes down the road with live music, billiards and great food. The Historic town of Bastrop is only 25 minutes away, set beautifully on the Colorado River featuring fishing, boating and kayaking Bastrop has shopping, movie and live theater, grocery stores and pharmacies. Historic Round Top is only 30 minutes away featuring some wonderful restaurants and the world famous and eclectic Festival Hill Music Hall and the Round Top/ Warrenton Antique Fair. The Antique Rose emporium calls out to those who love all things beautiful and garden and is just over an hour away.
