Chelsea, one bedroom apartment - 3R - in our townhouse on safe quiet street, centrally located, convenient to everything in NYC. Up two flights of stairs 3R has a cosy bedroom with a fold out double bed/futon, or can be used as just a sitting room, as there is also a double loft bed (very popular w/teens, but not senior citizens!) Small kitchen has microwave, toaster oven electric skillet & cookpot, coffee maker, tiny DW. (no oven) full bath, two closets and half size living room with dining area and single fold out bed option. (the other half of the living room is my art studio - I don't use it while you are there) Overlooks the rear garden - quiet. Our family occupies the lower two floors. (3F and the floor above are annual rentals.)
Seeking Urban w/public transportation and art museums
OR Ocean (not lake) front (as in, walk out the door and there is the ocean, not "only a ten minute drive") in Washington State, Americas/Caribbean f (No suburbs or rural rustic cabins please)

Super convenient to all of New York, we're a block from two subway lines (C, E, and the #1. A block further gets you to the F and M) An easy walk to the Whiteney, Ruben, Math and F.I.T. museums, plus multiple art galleries. The Highline and Hudson RIver Parks. Chelsea Market and Eataly. Endless restaurants. Chelsea is a neighborhood with everything for everybody - Charmingly walkable with beautiful row houses as well bold achitecturial high rises.
