It’s a chill neighborhood with neighbors that are primarily second home owners. It’s quiet, yet not out in the middle of nowhere. The town of Grand lake is less than 5 miles away and walking distance to the Lake Granby. About .10 mile away is the canal with plenty of fish as well as a trail for walking, horseback riding, snowmobiling. Many smaller town to explore within 30-45 minutes for easy day trips (Fraser, Tabernash, Winter Park). Entrance to Rocky Mountain national park is about 5 miles away as well....endless trails.
