I am a widower and a retired Crown Prosecutor.I travel with Ann, a companion who is a retired teacher. We both enjoy exploring the countries we visit and getting a better understanding of the people, their language and culture. We both speak French. I speak German and am learning Italian.

4 bed modern family home on the edge of the North York Moors National Park with panoramic views & large secluded garden. Ideal base for relaxing and touring
Photos show the view to which you can walk in 45mins.
A terrace runs round the conservatory leading to lawns on 3 sides, a summerhouse and pond. There are 4 large bedrooms, 2 ensuite downstairs and 2 sharing a jacuzzi bathroom with shower upstairs. The study has internet with library, maps + guides. An open plan lounge (with separate access to the patio) and TV area lead to the conservatory. A large kitchen /breakfast area give access to the kitchen garden and patio through a utility and drying room. A dining room is next to the kitchen. Visitors can help themselves to any fruit and vegetables in season from the garden or greenhouse.

The house is in private grounds at the end of a quiet, peaceful village. Neighbours are friendly and willing to help but will not intrude. There is easy walking access to the North York Moors and good vehicular access to a wider area. Traditional pubs and good food are within walking distance. There is a small shop for essentials but the market town of Stokesley is only 2 miles away and caters for all your needs.
