Originally from the Midlands we have lived in Wales for 45+ years. As well as Mick being a builder we have spent a lot of time running a bed and breakfast business from various homes that we have built/renovated. We are both retired and moved into our present home at the end of April 2019. We wanted to downsize but love where we live so our son and daughter in law bought our house and we have built this 2 bedroom lodge in the large garden. Our exchangers are free to use the garden, sit in the gazebo where you may be joined by the Border Collie, Dyfi.
We both enjoy travelling and meeting new people. We have done a lot of exchanges over the past 25+ years, mainly to the USA which is where we discovered the sport of Pickleball that we are now trying to introduce to our village. We haven't exchanged over the last few years as we've been looking after our almost 4 year old grandson while Mum and Dad are at work as well as Mick working as a builder. He has now retired, Theo is at school and suddenly we have the freedom to start exchanging again.
We do a lot with our local village hall, both of us are on the committee and we run a short mat bowling club, boccia as well as pickleball. As well as that Jane enjoys walking, line dancing and swimming. Mick is a member of the local snooker club. It will usually be just the two of us travelling although we may occasionally be joined by friends
