David and Janet's unique octagonal house provided a delightful location for a very relaxing week. The beautiful, rural setting provided plenty of options for walks as well as day trips out. But it was equally relaxing spending time in and around the very comfortable home. Thank you for a lovely swap.

We enjoyed our stay in the Martin's unusually designed attractive house. There were beautiful views over extensive manicured gardens from every window. Peacefully isolated, one could leave the world outside! Lovely walks down wooded footpaths laden with blackberry bushes kept us well occupied. We hardly felt the need to go into the local town of Alton,( 4 miles), and cherished the sound of silence around us. Thank you David and Janet for a relaxing holiday.

The area was new to us and there was plenty to explore nearby including Jane Austen’s house. The octagonal house was a first for us and was situated in a beautiful, tranquil setting. Our exchangers were very helpful about adjusting the arrival and departure dates due to a hospital appointment.

David and Janet have a beautiful and unusual home in a rural location. We enjoyed visting local towns & getting as far as Portsmouth for a tour of The Victory, though most of the week was spent walking in the lovely countryside & exploring an area we were unfamiliar with.
