By car you also need 1 hour to Magdeburg or Braunschweig, 1,5 hours to Hannover (airport) or Kassel, 2,5 hours to Berlin (airport), 1,5 hours to airport Halle/Leipzig
In Quedlinburg, Thale and Halberstadt you have many things to do for children and adults. I can send you more information about, if you're interested.
Quedlinburg's Old Town encompasses an area of some 80 hectares, all of which has been listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site. An outstanding example of a European city of medieval origin which has been preserved throughout the centuries, Quedlinburg is distinguished by its exceptional architectural heritage of Romanesque and half-timbered buildings, many of remarkably high quality. Buildings of all styles and epochs make Quedlinburg the perfect place to study the development of half-timbered building techniques and styles throughout the ages.

Descripción de nuestro barrio y la zona en que se encuentra
The House we live in is in a little yard at the end of a small street in a small Village.
In the houses in the yard live several families with children, but also seniors.
After a view steps you can reach fields and forests. There are many hiking trails nearby. The Brocken (1.141 m) is good to see in good weather. It can be reached in about an hour by car. A climb is possible over a beautiful path within about 2,5 hours.
