We are a couple in our 60s, both retired now and Homelinkers since 1993. After many years living in Munich we have now moved to our country home. We love travelling, cycling and swimming. Also painting, modern arts and exhibitions, FC Bayern München. We both are non-smokers. We don' t have pets anymore but are CATLOVERS and like to take care for your cats.

DEAR HOMELINKERS! WE HAVE MOVED FROM MUNICH TO THIS NEW HOME.
NOW LOOKING FOR EXCHANGES IN 2024
Our house is located in Runding (2.300) near Nationalpark Bayerischer Wald. The City of Cham (17.000) 8 km away. Daily bus line, but a car is necessary. Cham train station is directly at the line MUNICH - PRAGUE. To PILSEN 90 km. Czech border 20 km. Next Airports: Munich 156 km, Nürnberg 164 km.
The house is a semi-detached hillside house in a quiet residential street, spacious and comfortable with 130 m² (+55 m²) living space. Ground floor: kitchen, dining area, living room, balcony, cloakroom, pantry, guest toilet. From the balcony you have wonderful view to the river valley and Cham. Upper floor: master bedroom, guest room, bathroom, balcony, my painting studio.
Basement: second apartment (55 m²) with own entrance, kitchen-dining area, bathroom, master bedroom, living room, terrace. Depending on dates and number of persons we decide to offer this apartment for exchanges. In the village: butcher, bakery, supermarket, Pizzeria, brewery restaurant. Culture and art: Runding castle ruins, Cham Cityhall, artgalleries, Event City tours, classical concert hall Blaibach.
Sports: horse riding (Reiterhof Runding), tennis, golfing, canoeing, hiking, skiing, glider sightseeing flights, biking at the Regental-Radweg.
Spa and Wellness: Bad Kötzting Kneipp medical Spa, Wellness Spa Aquacur, Casino.
Nationalpark Bayerischer Wald: wilderness with special sphere of unspoiled nature for hiking, snowshoeing, discovering wolves, bears, lynxes. Take the Waldbahn on a wild romantic train tour through “Bavarian Canada”.

Starting in the village center there is a circular hiking trail to the Haidsteiner Hütte. Another trail leads to the 1000 years old linden tree “Wolframslinde". In 3 km you can swim in the Satzdorfer See or bike along the river “Regen”. Private observatory Rossberg.
