You can visit the interesting cities Amsterdam, Haarlem, Alkmaar, Den Helder by train an car, and have nice walks and bicycle trips in the surroundings. We enjoyed the beautiful weather and had a good holiday.

Due to health issues we can't exchange in 2023!

Open to all offers for summer 2024, but we hope to visit the south of England, the Lake District or Sweden.

Our house is located on a silent street not far away from the centre of the city (15-20 minutes by foot). Also a bus-stop (500 meters) and the train station (20 minutes by foot) are not far away. Our house has 3 floors. On the ground floor you'll find the hall, the toilet, the living room and a modern open kitchen. The whole ground floor is equippedwith underfloor heating. On the first floor you’ll find 2 bedrooms, the study and the bathroom. On the second floor we have another bedroom/playroom, and the washing machine and dryer.
We keep our bicycles and garden chairs in the shed.

Castricum is situated on the border of the wooded Noord-Holland Dune Reserve by the North Sea beach. Surfers, swimmers, sun-worshipers too; all will find every facility here and seekers after peace can enter the dune area.
The community has about 23.000 inhabitants.
Facilities: Swimming pool (only indoor), several public playgrounds, sports centers.
From the Castricum trainstation you have a direct connection to cities like Haarlem, Alkmaar and Amsterdam.
