We had a nice exchange in this big house in Vicenza. It was located in between some nice cities like Venice and it was an one hour drive to the Garda Lake. We also stayed at the holiday home in Orbetello what was located in the middle of the town. Nice location. When sitting on the balcony you could hear the nice live music from outside. This house was about a 10 minute drive from the Toscany beaches.

What a great experience this exchange provided us! Being in this flat in the centre of historic walled Orbetello was so much fun. We loved the pedestrian walkways leading us to shopping, restaurants and markets. We took advantage of the bikes by biking to the forest and beaches on the other side of the lagoon. Car hire was available in nearby Port Santo Stefano. We accessed other destinations easily by car or train. Truly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend this wonderful part of Tuscany.

Nos hôtes nous ont généreusement offert leur appartement de vacances dans un lieu inoubliable. Le hasard de cette rencontre nous a conduits vers le sud de la Toscane et la Maremma. Nous avons visité entre mer et collines, entre art contemporain et l'histoire fascinante des Etrusques. Grazzie mille a loro. Nous serions ravis de les rencontrer et de leur prêter notre maison en retour.

La casa si trova in una buona posizione per visitare l'Argentario. E' accogliente e possiede il necessario per stare comodamente in 4 persone.

The appartment is placed in the center of town, which is a big help, especially for our two teenage girls, who love shopping! It is very nice that cars are not allowed in the center of the town. We parked our car for free nearby. The beach is just wonderful. Its free and just 7 km away. We can recommend this place to other Homelink members.

We had a wonderful three weeks in Orbetello, Italy Summer 2015. We visited Siena, Rome and Pisa as well as the beautiful Island of Giglio (only a short distance away). We would highly recommend this exchange to others. Also the family were helpful and welcoming in their emails and information. We hosted the family's daughter (aged 16) and her cousin (aged 14) and in exchange spent three weeks in the family Summer home in Orbetello. The two girls were a pleasure to have in our home and we would happily have them in our home again. It was a great experience for our family and a wonderful introduction for us to Italy and the beautiful Tuscany. The town of Orbetello had many fine restaurants and a really good ice cream cafe beside the house. Our children were delighted. Miriam and John McManus.
