VERY IMPORTANT : FROM TORINO AIRPORT YOU CAN TAKE A BUS SHUTTLE AND REACH OUR HOUSE IN THE HEART OF THE CITY CENTRE IN 40 MINUTES (BY BUS SHUTTLE) OR 20 MINUTES BY TAXI / FROM MILANO MALPENSA AIRPORT THE BUS SHUTTLE TRIPS TAKES 2 HOURS TO TORINO CITY CENTRE.
FROM MAIN TRAIN STATION (PORTA NUOVA) THE APARTMENT IS AT 4 STOPS OF LIGHT METRO / BUS OR 5 MINUTES BY TAXI OR 20 MINUTES'WALK IN MAIN PEDESTRIAN STREET VIA ROMA .
!! Our Apartment is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO PETS (for Annalisa 's problems of allergies) !!
The street via XX Settembre is not accessible to cars (except the few ones of residents) and it is a limited traffic Street dedicated to Public Transport only , right in the heart of the city centre), JUST ROUND THE CORNER FROM THE MAIN SQUARE PIAZZA CASTELLO , where you can find the ROYAL PALACE + PALAZZO MADAMA.
It's the ideal apartment to visit all the city centre just walking !! All the places of interest (Museums, Palaces, etc..) are just at a few steps from home !
Our apartment is our beloved 2nd house and it's an elegant, refined and very Modern Apartment.
It was fully renovated in 2016 with all new furniture , bed linen, towels, all kitchen accessories and kitchenware, etc ... It's a 80 square metres apartment and it can host up to a maximum of 6 adults + 1 child (up to 10 years old) + 1 child (up to 3 years old) with all comforts !!
THE APARTMENT IS ON 1ST FLOOR (THE LIFT IS PRESENT BUT NOT AVAILABLE - THERE ARE ONLY 20 CONFORTABLE STEPS TO GET TO THE 1ST FLOOR)
IT IS IDEAL FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN , HYPOALLERGENIC AND FULLY ACCESSIBILE FOR SENIORS AND PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY OR
DISABLED PEOPLE (THEY CAN USE THE LIFT); THE LIFT MEASURES CM. 58 X 98 (LENGHT) - We can facilitate the rent of a narrow wheel chair , if necessary.
CHILDREN ARE WELCOME AND THERE ARE VARIOUS ACCESORIES FOR THEM

The apartment is very quiet thanks to the brand new pvc external doors-windows and windows (double-glass windows) that also protect you from heat and cold and from any kind of noise.
The apartment has 2 balconies : 1 overlooking Via XX Settembre and 1 overlooking the internal courtyard .
VERY IMPORTANT !! ALL THE FLAT IS POWERED BY ELECTRICITY ONLY (High power with 6 Kw) AND IT IS WITHOUT GAZ !! (for maximum safety) .
HEATING IS AUTONOMOUS THANKS TO NEW POWERFUL AIR CONDITIONING ELEMENTS IN EVERY ROOM (for heating and cooling with the maximum of silence).

BUS AND TRAM STOP FOR MANY DESTINATIONS IS DOWNSTAIRS + IN PIAZZA CASTELLO – TAXIS AT 20 METRES – TOURISTIC BUSES AT 20 METRES – MULTISTOREY PAYMENT CAR PARKINGS AT 50 METRES (FREE CAR PARKINGS AT 200 - 300 METRES) – 2 MAIN TRAIN STATIONS AT 4 BUS/TRAM STOPS – METRO STOP AT 100 METRES
At the back of the apartment building, you 'll find Piazza Castello with Palazzo Reale and Palazzo Madama (Polo Reale) , at 20 metres there is Palazzo Chiablese, then at 50 metres the Duomo (Cathedral which hosts the Holy Shroud) at a few steps The Royal Gardens, Via Roma, The Egyptian Museum , Piazza Carignano, the historical cafes , Via Po, The Mole Antonelliana (10 minutes walk) with its Cinema Museum and the famous lift from which top you will see the whole town !!
At 100 metres from the apartment there is the coloured and multiethnic Porta Palazzo open-air market to buy fresh food of every kind (and much more) open every morning !!
In Piazza Castello you can find taxis stop just in front of the Tourism information Office .
From Piazza Castello many touristic buses leave to take you to Reggia di Venaria, Superga, Stupinigi, and many other touristic destinations.
In 15 minutes walk (or with 4 bus or tram stops ) or by taxi in 5 minutes , you will reach both Porta Nuova and Porta Susa main train stations ; from both stations airport bus shuttles leave to both Torino and Milano airports.
Supermarkets and all kinds + shops for food + all kinds of shops are at a few steps from home
You are just in the middle of the shopping main italian brands area !! (Via Roma + Via Garibaldi)

By crossing Piazza Castello, you'll be in Via Roma and in just 5 minutes walk you'll find the Egyptian Museum (the 2nd most important in the world) – on the other side of the square Piazza Castello, you'll be in Via Po and in 10 minutes walk you'll be in front of the Mole Antonelliana (symbol of the city): inside the Mole there is a panoramic lift that brings you to the top of it and you will have a wonderful landscape of the whole town at 365 degrees – inside the Mole there is an interesting and funny Cinema Museum , a big attraction for adults and children as well !!
Very close to the apartment and in the surrounding tiny street of the ancient city centre district , you can discover hundreds of ancient artisans' ateliers of all kinds (Quadrilatero Romano) , then bars, restaurants, bistrot, cafes , ice-cream shops , etc..; in Via Garibaldi (just next to the apartment) you can find fashion shops , as well as in Via Roma ... a paradise for city centre shopping lovers !!
The nearest supermarket is only 50 metres far (it is open until 9 p.m.) and all shops for food (bakery , butcher's and many others ... are just there at 50 – 100 metres)
Multistorey payment car parking is at 50 metres (the closest) + others at 200 – 300 metres (free parkings and payment parkings) .
Bike rentals and bike sharing are very close too - you can leave your bike parked inside the internal courtyard of the building.
Car Sharing Torino are very close (50 metres).
Piazza Castello Parking + Santo Stefano Porte Palatine Parking (Via di Porta Palatina) are the closest safe parkings

FOR ANNALISA'S ALLERGIES WE NEED TO FIND AN ANTI-ALLERGIC HOUSE, WITH NO PETS AND PERFECTLY CLEAN !! OUR HOUSE IS PERFECT FOR ALLERGIC PEOPLE AND PETS ARE STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED !!
Smoking is forbidden inside the apartment .
WE SUGGEST TO OUR HOME EXCHANGE PARTNERS NOT TO CLEAN BOTH HOUSES AT THE END OF THE STAY , BUT JUST TO LEAVE IT TIDY , WITH NO RUBBISH AROUND AND LEAVING THE KITCHEN FAIRLY CLEAN (DISHES WASHED / INSIDE THE DISHWASHER) : in our experience, it is almost impossible to clean a whole house (maybe) very early in the morning before leaving ... or anyway , having to clean the house before leaving at the end of the holiday might be frustrating and tiring ... particularly for women ! So, we suggest mutually to call a person who will do the Cleaning after we both leave the house at the mutually agrred time (to be communicated in advance).
