We are an active couple who enjoy travel, adventure and love the outdoors. We both work as Lecturers/Career Guidance Counsellors in 3rd Level education. We have two grown up sons who sometimes like to travel with us.

A lovely apartment in a small complex. In our apartment there are two bedrooms (both with double beds) and a double sofa bed in the living area if needed. There are two bathrooms (one en-suite). The living area and kitchen are open plan with access to a small rear garden. There is a small covered seating area at the rear door (nice for a refreshing drink after a busy day). The apartment has an allocated car space. There are steps down to the apartment from the carpark at the front of the building.

If you love the oudoors, hiking and watersports this is the perfect exchange for you! We are only 10 mins walk to the famous Tramore surfing beach and the many swimming coves. The Comeragh mountains offer wonderful hiking opportunities and they are a short 20 minute drive. There are many golf courses in the area. Within 10 minutes you can walk to Tramore Town which has a lovely bakery, nice cafes and supermarkets. It is only 15 mins drive to Waterford. Located in the South East of Ireland there is so much to see and do in the area and an ideal base to explore! Go to https://tramore.ie/. Previous exchangers have enjoyed travelling to Cork, Kilkenny and Dublin (all within 2 hour drive)

Below is just a flavour of all the things to see and do in the area! We believe that where we live is quite unique. We have beautiful mountains, many great beaches, coastal walks and historic castles and cities, all close by. If you ever wanted to learn how to surf this is your opportunity..... there are two wonderful surf schools within a 10 minute walk. Don't hesitate to contact us if you would like to learn more about the many attractions Ireland has to offer, it is truly a beautiful country to visit. We are open to all exchange opportunites and we would love to hear from you.
