Descripción de la casa que ofrecemos en intercambio
Built in 2018 our home is very modern and is split over three storeys. Ground floor is open plan with a new extension into the garden which is now the dining room. We have a projector and a screen that comes down from the ceiling in the sitting room, rather than a telly. We have the amazon Firestick on it, and satellite tv too.
There is an xbox 360 which can be hooked up too if wanted. Also on ground floor is toilet and utility room. First floor has a double bedroom with shower ensuite, and a nursery (cot bed) with bath ensuite. We can add a camp bed to this room if needed. Top floor is the master bedroom with super king size bed and seating area with wall mounted tv, and shower ensuite.

Descripción de nuestro barrio y la zona en que se encuentra
We are in a very small estate of 29 houses at the top of a quiet road. The Beaverstown Golf Club is across the road, so golfers can easily walk to it. There are four other golf clubs in Donabate, and great beaches at Donabate and Portrane. Donabate village is 15 mins walk, with a few restaurants and cafes, and a couple of pubs, takeaways, barber and pharmacies. On the road to Portrane there's a lovely bakery in amongst a few other shops, which you can walk to in 10/15 mins. Newbridge House and Farm is just beyond the village, so a 25 mins walk or 5 min drive. It's a great big park with woods, parkland, a fantastic farm to visit and a great big playground. The house is open for tours and there is a little gift shop and cafe by the farm.

Dónde ir y qué hacer mientras se esté en nuestra casa
Portrane is a five minute drive and has a nice chip shop and pub, and the best pizza I've ever had (Doughbox) is served from a horse box at the pub. Swords has a fantastic shopping centre, great restaurants and bars and decent main street and is only about 15 mins drive. Donabate train station is in the village, and can get you to Connolly train station in 25 mins. Malahide is a lovely seaside town and is only 4 mins on the train. Or if you go north you can get to Skerries by car in about 25 mins or you can go by train.

We are tidy and clean and will leave the house very clean for our guests. We would appreciate if the house is left clean in return. We are careful and considerate guests and will respect your home and leave it clean also. We have a small boy but he is a careful child, not a tornado!
We will leave some instructions on how to operate some things in our home, please contact us if you need help with anything during your stay. Smokers are more than welcome to smoke in the garden, but not in the house. We have plants but will water before we go so they can be ignored.
