Artemida was very comfortable to stay in and close to many restaurants, shops and the beach. A car is very useful for travel around the area. Rafina is close by for travel to the islands. We were looked after very well with a pick up and drop off from Athens airport, lovely after a long flight. To see Greece from a different perspective I would recommend.

We spent three wonderful weeks in Heinz and Cynthia’s spacious villa. The location was perfect for almost daily walks to the beautiful sandy beach, where the water was warm and inviting! Along the beach, and towards town are several great tavernas, with amazing food, where we ate too much… but how could you not, everything was delicious! We had the use of their car, and were able to do fabulous day trips to Corinth, the Temple of Poseidon, etc. The bus stop is very close to the house, for convenient transport into Athens. From nearby Rafina we got a ferry to the island of Andros, which was also wonderful! Their villa is well equipped and comfortable, with a lovely patio under the grape vines! Gail was very helpful, and we enjoyed some of her home cooked meals. It was great to be immersed in Greek culture and lifestyle, yet almost everyone we met spoke some English, and that made things easy! We had a perfectly relaxing exchange, and left a little piece of our hearts in beautiful Greece!

Heinz & Cynthia have been very kind since the first contact. The house is beautiful, immersed in the green of artemide a few km from Athens. There is everything you need. We spent a memorable week, even locations and sites outside the Acropolis. the welcome was very good, Gail is fantastic and very kind. Everything perfect, Greece will remain in my heart!

Heinz and Cynthia, house is very large, clean and bright,it has enough beds and rooms for several people. The house also has a wonderful garden that in summer is a true paradise. The house is in a quiet area without noise, near the beach and a bus stop that connects in about 40 minutes with the Athens metro. Public transport in Athens is quite cheap and for 1 euro and 40 cents you are in the center of Athens from their home. They inform you before the conditions of the house and everything that you need for the exchange, as well as very useful information about the city. I feel very proud to exchange houses with people like Heinz and Cynthia, because they make the exchange easy and they are constantly worrying about any detail. Athens is one of the cities with more possibilities that I have visited, because both the city and the surroundings and even the visit to the islands is very comfortable from their home. We want to exchange with you again. An authentic luxury houses like that.

La maison de Cynthia et Heinz, spacieuse et confortable, est à cinq minutes de la plage, et grâce à leur voiture, il est facile de rejoindre une station de métro et d'aller à Athènes et de visiter d'autres sites merveilleux comme Mycènes, Epidaure ou Delphes (en passant une nuit sur place). Nous avons été accueillis à l'aéroport par une amie anglaise. L'environnement de villas fleuries, avec de petites boutiques, une église où, le dimanche matin, on entend la messe chantée, est calme et pittoresque. Nous avons passé là une dizaine de jours très agréables. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Artemida. Short walking distance to a fabulous string of beaches and restaurants. A privilege to be almost totally in a Greek environment without international tourists. An easy one hour bus trip to Athens and a host of other world acclaimed destinations. We loved our contact with Heinz and Cynthia, and the hospitality they provided. We thank you both for a memorable exchange.

A 100% satisfactory home exchange with four of us - three generations! - staying in Cynthia and Heinz's very spacious villa. We all occupied separate bedrooms and had plenty of personal space, with everything we could possibly need provided. The location is ideally situated with handy access to the beach, shopping, tavernas and cafés; plus the car was excellent for when we ventured further afield, which was very frequently. We used the house as our base over three very enjoyable weeks while we visited many places of interest, drawing upon the literature and info in the house for tips and inspiration. We took ferries to some of the islands from nearby Rafina; we spent a few nights in Athens and had a delightful stay in the Peloponnese region. Many thanks to our wonderful hosts.

Out stay was wonderful and we only used the bottom floor. The house is easy walking distance to beaches on the Aegan Sea and easy access to ferrys to the Cyclades and super highways to Delphi, Corinth and Epidarus. Our hosts provided on the top complete information for our stay.

5 of us spent almost 2 weeks in this lovely home. The house was spacious, the neighborhood very quiet, and easy walking distance to the small tourist town with restaurants on the beach. Short drive to the metro or walk to the bus stop for day trips to Athens and centrally located for trips to Corinth, beaches, and other sights. The home was well stocked with kitchen essentials, beach towels, books, games, etc. Wish we could have stayed longer- so much to see and do!

This is a very comfortable home which will cater for everyone's needs. It is situated in a beautiful part of Greece that makes sightseeing easy. Would love to return one day.

Excellent house which was well furnished and very clean. When you equipped the house you clearly thought of everything. We loved the fact that there was air conditioning a wide selection of DVDs and books. The location is ideal being an easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Thought the bus and metro service were wonderful making it so easy to get into Athens, and so cheap! We loved the bread from the mini market and the taverna prices were superb, as was the food. We had a very comfortable and relaxing fortnight, but ate and drank too much. That's what holidays are for!! Alison and Nikos were a great help.

Es war wunderschön in Artemida. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und komfortsbel, mit allem ausgerüstst, was man braucht. Der Strand, etliche Restaurants und die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen und die Anbindung nach Athen sehr gut. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genossen und sehr viel gesehen. Vielen Dank an Cynthia und ihren Mann für die großzügige Gastfreundschaft für unsere Familie.
