Nous sommes une famille de 4 personnes, Pascale, Jean-Jacques et nos enfants Simon et Anna mais seulement deux à participer aux échanges maintenant.
Eventuellement, Marie-Paule, la sœur de Jean-Jacques pourrait s'adjoindre à nous.
Quelque soit la période, nous recherchons un échange avec Dublin car notre fille Anna y est étudiante.
Dans les autres périodes, soit du 15 Avril au 1er mai 2023, soit/et du 15 juillet au 13 Août 2023, la durée de l'échange peut aller d'une semaine à deux semaines.
We are a family of 4, Pascale, Jean-Jacques and our children Simon and Anna but only two to participate in the exchanges now.
Whatever the period, we are looking for an exchange with Dublin because our daughter Anna is a student there.

Our house, approximately 220 m2, built in 1985, is located in an enclosed park of 2000 m2 (with a gate, at the end of an alley ), a large terrace, an outdoor spa, particularly wooded, a playground, a garden, a greenhouse , a hen house.
o Ground floor: Entrance hall, living room, lounge with fireplace, media room, kitchen, utility room, laundry room, bathroom and sanitary - A veranda overlooking the park- A two-car garage.
o First floor: 2 bedrooms: Ch1: 1 double bed; Ch2: a double bed, a veranda lounge; an office (computers and internet); a mezzanine (Sofa and library); bathroom with toilet
o Second floor: One bedroom with 1 double and 1 single bed, a storage room, attics and closets.

Descripción de nuestro barrio y la zona en que se encuentra
Suburban residential subdivision off 5 minutes by feet from the center of Lanvallay. Nice neighbors. The center of the town of Dinan is 4 or 5 minutes by car (parking difficult in summer), 20 minutes by feet and 10 minutes by bikes..
Dinan: particularly touristic medieval city with its 1.5 km of ramparts, its medieval streets, its port on the Rance (down the Rance to Dinard and Saint Malo). Dinard, Saint Malo and the Emerald Coast (beaches, resorts, spa): less than half an hour by car. It takes 45 minutes to get to Mont
Saint Michel and 35 to Rennes.
Lanvallay: all shops and services are close to 5 to 10 minutes on foot: two supermarkets, banks, doctors, pharmacies, physiotherapists, transportation (hourly service to Dinan (free), Dinard and Rennes), sports, restaurants, garages, hairdressing, optical, town hall, church, etc.

The proximity of the sea (the Channel) with the highest tides in Europe, the estuary of the Rance (typically Breton ria), Coëtquen forest and surrounding ponds are the main natural assets.
Water sports are particularly developed (sailing, canoeing, rowing, kayaking, windsurfing, paddle but also swimming, diving, fishing) and hiking or cycling, including mountain biking.
Culturally, the history since the Roman times (Corseul site, Aleth city) to the present day including of course the Middle Ages (Anne Castle Brittany Dinan, Duguesclin ...) is very pregnant.
The cities of the estuary of the Rance (Dinan, Dinard, Saint Malo) are particularly lively, rich in museums and cultural activities. Rennes, university city, is less than 45 minutes.
The local cuisine is heavily pancakes, cakes, cider and all the seafood (including Cancale). Markets Dinan (Thursday) and Dinard (Saturday) are typical.

The house is no smoking and no pets.
Watering the plants indoors is necessary in summer. Outside, if it is hot and dry, watering the garden and the greenhouse will be welcome. Perhaps you must add water in the basin.
You don’t need to mow the lawn. Hens have enough food and water reserves for the period of our absence, everything has been planned.
Don’t hesitate to take the eggs from our hens (when available) and pick the fruits (cherries, apricots, wild strawberries in summer, blackberries, apples, peers) and vegetables (tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers, etc.) for your tasting.
