We are halfway down a narrow dead end road that borders a smallish public park with playground equipment and sport fields (across the street neighbors directly border this park, Henry Ola Park ). Houses toward the end of the road are actually on the Hillsborough River (but none of us are in a flood zone). Walking distance to two grocery stores (Save A Lot on corner of Ola St and Hillsborough Ave. — also has a bus station, and Seminole Heights General Store on corner of Comanche and Florida Ave.). Walking distance to several restaurants and small shops, this is considered a highly sought after and quaint neighborhood within City of Tampa city limits. 10 minute drive (with traffic) to downtown Tampa and everything it offers (Amalie Arena has many concerts and events, Straz Performing Arts Center gets the Broadway shows, orchestra and
Opera), 15 minute drive to Tampa International Airport, 20 minute drive to St. Pete Beach but there are also smaller beaches closer by, and 45 minute early morning commute to Walt Disney World if that’s your thing (and one more reason Tampa is better than Orlando!). 5 minutes or less from Lowry Park Zoo, 15 minutes from Busch Gardens (Zoo and serious Rollercoasters plus beer). 10 minutes to culturally and historically interesting Ybor City. Just a lot of cool stuff nearby, and less traffic, more culturally interesting than Orlando.
