Hej, I am 41 years old and live with my husband Matthias and our three kids (Carl, Magnus and David) in Berlin. We love and enjoy Berlin and especially our neighbourhood. We have lovely neighbours and lots of friends living close to us. I am a psychologist working at the Humboldt-University of Berlin, Matthias is a lawyer. Our family loves to travel and meet other people and cultures. We are a very open, friendly and easygoing family.

We had a wonderful time in Berlin. Birgit's apartment is beautiful, there's a lot of space and it is very well situated in a nice area, full of trendy restaurants, very close to the Mauerpark, and all sites of interest are easily reachable. Birgit and her family had welcomed us very friendly, the fridge was was full of good food and they gave us plenty of good adresses. The communication with them was easy and when we returned home our flat was perfectly clean. We highly recommend exchanging with Birgit and her family. Berlin is a stunning city, a mix between splendid museums, alternative lifestyle and vibrant nightlife. We've just loved it! Thank you Birgit for this exchange!

Great place in Berlin !
We had a very good time at Birgit and Mathias in Berlin ! We fell at home in their very pleasant, nice, luminous, confortable flat. It is well located, in a friendly neighborhood, with lots of restaurants and trendy stores. You can stroll all day long just around (local market, flea market, squares, street food). House is well located in Berlin center. You can reach every great places by tram (1mn), metro (5mn) or bicycles. Berlin is a wonderfull place to visit, great historic place with its special athmosphere... Birgit and Matthias where very good hosts, friendly helping us to find good places all trip long. When we came back our house was in a perfect state. We higly recommend exchanging with them !

A very nice and large apartment right in the middle of a beautiful, historic and trendy neighbourhood of Berlin (Prenzlauer Berg), close to many cafés, bars, restaurants and shops. Still central and well connected to public transport (15 min to Berlin-Alexanderplatz, 20 min to Brandenburger Tor or to Berlin - Central Station)

Our neighbourhood in Prenzlauer Berg is an old, beautifully restored part of Berlin with lots of young people and families from all over the world. Within walking distance there are many cafés, restaurants, bars, cinemas, shops, parks and playgrounds. Just on the ground floor of our apartment building there is a personal fitness club. Within a few stops by tram or metro you reach attractions like "Brandenburger Tor", "Berlin TV Tower", "Museumsinsel" (with Pergamonmuseum and others), "Mauerpark","East Side Gallery" or "Staatsoper Unter den Linden".
