Our home is located one kilometre from main highway with one neighbour beside us. It is a country setting surrounded by evergreens private and peaceful. The land is spacious and fronts onto Kootenay Lake. There is a small Regional park on the other side of our neighbours used for the beach and picnicking. We are a quick ride (8 km) into City of Nelson for terrific shopping and activities. There are summer markets, 3 major grocery stores, Walmart, and unique independent shops. Four pharmacies and a large organic co-op store with a huge selection of fresh fruit, vegetables, dairy, meat and sundries. Nelson itself has 80 different restaurants most with outside seating in the summer months. Live theatre & movie theatres.
