St. Lawrence residents have the luxury of being able to walk to the famous St. Lawrence Market, a food emporium with over 200 vendors again attracting shoppers from near and far. Stroll through this Toronto landmark and be entertained by live performers, enjoy a vast variety of prepared foods, and purchase everything from fresh seafood to farm fresh eggs and organic chicken. Shopping at this market dubbed the best food market in the world by National Geographic is an experience not to be missed. As mentioned we are near art galleries, concert venues, theatre, the Hockey Hall of Fame, CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium. Sports venues for baseball, football, soccer, hockey, basketball are all within walking distance.

OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD

It all began in 1793 as the Town of York and the creation of the St. Lawrence Neighbourhood. People lived and worked there, traded and sold, gathered to socialize and attend church or, on occasion, to form secret alliances and plan rebellions and uprisings. Today, St. Lawrence Market Neighbourhood continues to be a place where old and new coexist, where heritage buildings stand alongside modern condominiums and businesses.
You can travel back in time and explore the original 10 blocks of the city in the Town of York, wander the Victorian lanes of Corktown and discover 19th Century architecture in Queen Street East. Or take a selfie with our historic re-enactors and artisans and explore life as it was in the 1800’s. Marvel at the heritage architecture of The St Lawrence Hall. the Flatiron Building, St James Cathedral and the Distillery District.

Old Town Toronto is a place to eat whether at one of the many fine dining restaurants or relaxing with a pint at a friendly pub. Hungry office workers and shoppers congregate at the 215 year old St Lawrence Market to enjoy a wide array of international gourmet treats or stock up on fresh, locally grown produce.

We are walking distance to Union Station the transit hub to Barrie, Guelph, Hamilton, Via Rail to Ottawa and Montreal and the UP Express train to the airport. Cultural and sports venues are also a short walk away: Soccer, basketball, Baseball, Hockey are all walking distance or a very short transit ride. The Symphony, Ballet, Opera, Massey Hall, and a dozen live theatre companies are all walking distance. There is a movie theatre in the condo complex along with a full service grocery store and of course St. Lawrence market across the street. There are six major wine, beer and liquor stores within walking distance as well as four pharmacies including one in the building. Nothing is far from our central location.
