Our neighbourhood is quiet but very close to supermarkets, a park, restaurants, train station and tram. Berchem Station is only 10 minutes on foot. You are in the trendy part of Zurenborg only 5 minutes by bike. Here you can find a mix of restaurants and bars. It is also child friendly with a big playing area. You can take the train to go straight to Antwerp Central Station. It's only a couple of minutes and you arrive in one of the most beautiful Grand Central Halls in the world. From thereon you can discover the city centre on foot, by bike or with public transport.
We are also very close to every big city in Belgium: Gent, Brussels, Bruges, Liege is only 1 hour or 1,5 hour away. Even Paris or Amsterdam are not that far when you take the TGV train. You are also very close to the countryside. Only half an hour away by car is Kalmthoutse Heide which is a huge natural reserve in Northern Belgium. Also other regions like Hageland (with all the fruit blossoms) and Pajottenland are only an hour away. It is very beautiful to hike and bike there. And if you are up for a challenge, you can tike your race bike and try a bit of the Ronde van Vlaanderen in the Flemish Ardennes. In the French speaking part of Belgium it is worhtwhile to visit the Ardennes if you want to hike or bike or even to mountainbike or cano. Antwerp really is ideally situated to discover the whole of Belgium!
