We are a busy family of five with lots of family still in the UK. Poppy is our eldest and is a very social and outgoing young lady, She loves her music and her friends, she does well at school and has a part time job at McDonalds. Poppy also plays club tennis and school sports every Saturday. Freya is five and is hilarious, she is our entertainment. She loves unicorns, Shimmer & Shine and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Sophia is three and is also hilarious - both of the younger girls are at that age when the comments they make, the facial expressions, and their physical activity just make you belly laugh. Sophia is quieter than Freya, perhaps because she has no choice! She loves PJ Masks and Hey Duggie. The little girls do swimming and also gymnastics every week. All in our local area. Eden Park is stunning, it is hidden away from the town of Whittlesea, and an easy drive to the busy surburban hubs of Doreen and Mernda. We love that we have everything close by, but we can retreat to our own oasis at the end of the day. The summer here is amazing and we are all in the pool every day. We have lots of BBQ's and are outside until 9pm most nights. The weekends always mean friends and family here using the pool and making the most of the space and the play areas. We like to put down a tarp on the grass slope for a slip'n'slide for the kids (and any limber adults!). We would really like to get back to London for an extended period of DEC/JAN to visit family. Mark is from Worcester Park and all of his family are there. Both sets of grandparents are still kicking goals but they are getting on a bit and it's time to spend some quality time with them all. Including Mark's sister and her family, their parents, cousins, etc. It's a big family! Our dates are flexible, and we are open to non-simultaneous exchanges.

We are in an incredible pocket of north-east Melbourne, hidden in the hills, but close to everything you need. We are in a "dead-end" road and so traffic is non-existent. Kangaroos are everywhere in the early morning and late afternoon/dusk. The Cockatoos live in the huge gum trees and the laughing kookaburras will definitely catch your attention! Growling Frog Golf Course is a 10min drive. The closest train station (Donnybrook) will see you in the city in 35 minutes. The opposite direction would take you to Seymour or Kilmore - both fantastic places for the Country Horse Racing meets. Kinglake National Park has some great walking/hiking tracks and a beautiful waterfall, only 25min drive. Doreen and Mernda are a 15min drive if you have relatives or friends to visit. We are far enough from the city to have peace and quiet, space, and relaxation...but not too far so that guests can go in to the city for a full day, or just for a few hours! There is so much to do, it just depends on the direction you take! http://www.whittleseatourism.com.au/see-do/
The main house has 5 bedrooms, 2 living areas, 2 bathrooms, 3 WC and a bar area. There's plenty of space if you need it! We are on 2 acres and up the back of the property we also have a 2 bedroom cottage - so we definitely have something for everyone! Main House - Master Bedroom: King Bed + Ensuite + Cable TV/Smart TV (netflix, amazon, youtube, etc)...Bedroom 2: Cot + Change Table (can put a single bed or bunks in here)...Bedroom 2: Single Bed can put another single bed or bunks in here)...Bedroom 3: Double Bed + Smart TV...Bedroom 5: Queen Bed. The Cottage - Master Bedroom: King Bed + Smart TV...Bedroom 2: Bunk Bed + Trundle Bed. The Main House has ducted heated and colling throughout + two Coonara Wood Fire Heaters. The Cottage has a Heating/Cooling Split System + Coonara Wood Fire Heater. We have a small dog Jazzy who will be with our neighbours while we are away.
