We are looking to spend 6 months living in Germany as a family, and as such would like to offer a home exchange. Our house is a brand new two storey home in a very family friendly area in Ballarat, Australia and a good sized yard with trampoline and veggie-patch. We have lovely neighbours and the house is located in a one-way street at the end of a court. There are plenty of opportunities for walking, hiking and mountainbiking as we are located right on the edge of a huge nature reserve with mountainbike and hiking tracks throughout. We are also located close to the city of Ballarat, which can easily be reached by bike or e-scooter. There are good schools nearby, and plenty of playgrounds. Ballarat is a vibrant and modern city with excellent culture and gastronomy. It is also located just over 1 hour drive from Melbourne, and 1 hour from Geelong (coast and gateway to the Great Ocean Road), both of which can easily be reached by car, train or bus. The house is heated by Hydronic Heating throughout, and cooled by Evaporative Cooling throughout. There are two kids rooms and an additional playroom, an office, a parent bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and a kitchen/living dining area (open style). The dining area leads out to a large patio with garden furnishings. There is a good-size lawn with large soccer goal and trampoline. A double -sized Garage is available to carparking. A car and bike-exchange could be arranged as well. German and English Language children's books and toys can be made available.
