Applecross is a lovely leafy riverside suburb, with an easy walk to Applecross Village shopping precinct with its many coffee shops, restaurants, and boutiques, and 5 kilometres to the major Garden City Shopping Centre with cinemas, banks, department stores and over 200 speciality stores. Applecross has ample parks and reserves and in late spring the streets are lined with the magnificent purple flowering Jacaranda trees. The river attracts bird life and dolphins and depending on the time of the year you can view yacht races, windsurfers, kite surfers and canoeing enthusiasts all enjoying the beautiful Melville Waters with its lovely white sandy shores.
Perth city, the historic Port of Fremantle, and our beautiful Indian Ocean coast line with superb beaches are just 10 kilometres away. 22 kilometres to Perth International and Domestic Airports. The vibrant city of Fremantle has a fabulous lively cafe scene with its many restaurants and bars, art galleries, buzzing markets, and famous fish and chips and Little Creatures boutique brewery at fishing boat harbour. Also to be found in Fremantle is the Western Australian Maritime Museum, World Heritage listed Fremantle Prison and WA's oldest public building, the Roundhouse.
Perth is an ideal base from which to see the many attractions of Western Australia. Drive 26 kilometres for a great day out to the delightful Swan Valley with its wineries, boutique breweries, distilleries, heritage walks, Wildlife Park, arts and crafts. WA is world famous for wildflowers during spring and world class wineries a comfortable 3 hour drive south to Margaret River.
Our home is in a delightful tiered garden setting with access to the Swan River from the rear gate, where you can take beautiful walks along the boardwalk/footpaths from where you have views across the river to Perth city.
We offer two bedrooms, one bathroom with bath, separate shower, separate toilet, separate laundry with washing machine and ironing press. It has a full kitchen with dishwasher and open dining and family room, with uninterrupted views to the Swan River. The home is furnished, with a small home gym and has its share of steps to keep you fit. Outside has a below ground swimming pool, and car parking. The property is private, peaceful and quiet.
