Our Environment:
Frankfurt:
We live in a flat opposite the Zoo in Frankfurt-Ostend. Within walking distance there is the Main river, the European Central Bank, the "Zeil" (Shopping), Alte Oper, Restaurants, the "Dom", Goethe-Haus, etc.
Our flat faces the front as well as the the backyard with large old trees, it is almost every time quiet. Children may play in the backyard. There are other children of different ages living in the house. The Underground is directly in front of our house.
Everything you need in your daily life can be found in walking distance.
Besides Frankfurt's attractions the Taunus and its hiking possibilities are easily reached by public transport or by car. Public transport takes you fast to all cities nearby (Kassel, Gießen, Marburg, Fulda, Darmstadt, Wiesbaden, Mainz, Köln (Cologne).

Rheinböllen:
We live at the edge of the rather small city Rheinböllen (www.rheinboellen.de) in a solar-powerded house. This is a rural area from which many people commute to larger cities nearby. Ready access to all the attractions of Mainz, Cologne, Wiesbaden, Darmstadt, Frankfurt, Trier. Locally, easily to hand, are two pubs, four restaurants (indian, italian, german, asian), public swimming pools nearby (preferred ba children), two bakeries and three groceries.
Typical for the area we live in are the "Rheingau" and "Rheinhessen" wine districts - a pleasure for every wine enthusiast with many little towns to explore; we would like to arrange a wine-tasting for you in one of the countless wine taverns .
From our home you may furthermore start an exploration and sightseeing tour of the Rhine and its astounding landscape, castles and medieval buildings and villages (i.e. www.bacharach.de) by ship.
