We had a great time in Giulia's vacation home in the beautiful village of St. Vigilio. The appartment has a local charm and has all one needs. It is centrally located in the village with all shops within a few minutes walk. A great view of the mountain range from the window. We were there in the summer and enjoyed the numerous walks in the national park and will gladly go back in the winter for skiing.

We arrived in St. Vigilio on Christmas Day to scenes of a "Winter-wonderland". For South Africans totally unused to snow, this was a very special experience. The village and its surrounds are extremely picturesque and beautiful. As a family of five, we were a little apprehensive about the prospect of living together in a relatively small space; but our fears were soon allayed. Giulia and Paolo's apartment is very well appointed, pleasantly decorated, clean, warm, has good views; and is equipped with everything required to make for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It was a pleasure getting back there at the end of each day. It is near the center of the village with shops, bakeries, and ski-hire facilities very close by. St Vigilio is obviously very geared to Skiing during Winter with two slopes within easy walking distance from the apartment . There is also a fantastic cross-country ski trail. When not on the slopes, we also enjoyed lovely walks in and around the village - as well as trips to nearby historical towns. Something that made this exchange very pleasant was the pre-trip correspondence with Giulia and Paolo. By the time of the swap, we felt like we had known them for a long time. We would definitely recommend this as a destination

L'appartement de Giulia et Paolo, à San Vigilio, est situé dans une vallée magnifique. C'est un point de départ pour de nombreuses randonnées pédestres, à vélo, ou d'escalade. Le village est extrêmement animé, et très propre. En retour, notre maison a très bien été tenue pendant leur séjour; Je vous recommande un échange avec eux.

We stayed in Giulia & Paolo,s lovely apt in San Vigilio in September. We had a fabulous time, their apt is lovely and the National Park just beside it is fabulous and so is the village. We did lots of walking and cycling, pathways are terrific. We had a car but public transport seems to be very good. Lovely bakery and cafe close by and gorgeous cheeses and yogurt etc. It was a wonderful exchange it even snowed on the mountains when we were there.
