Descripción de la casa que ofrecemos en intercambio
Our house is a two appartements house. We bought it 20 years ago together with another family (friends of ours), and we are both couples still living here. We live in the ground flor. They live in the first flor. We have separated entrances. The house has a garden that we share with our neighbours, and the house is as close you can get to Oslo centre and still have a garden. The distance to Oslo centre, where you find the castle, parliament, opera, museums, theatres and so forth, is 4-5 km. There is a bus (#34) close to us that will take you to the central station (opera). To the tube there is approx 800 m to walk.
Oslo is the capital of Norway, situated in the south, not far from the Swedish border. The city is known for its unique combination of culture and nature. From our home you can bicycle by the beautiful Aker River, running through the renovated former working-class area of Grunerløkka, walk to Frognerparken, visit the centre of the city, take a ferryboat to one of the islands in the Oslofjord og go hiking in the vast areas north of Oslo.

Descripción de nuestro barrio y la zona en que se encuentra
Oslo is unique in both being a capital with all its advantages in culture and dining, and situated by a fjord and having large areas where you can do various outdoor activities. You can enjoy the fjord for bathing and sailing, or go fishing, cycling, hiking, or whatever you prefer. There a plenty of restaurants of high quality. Prices are ok, but alcohol is expensive due to Norwegian policies.
