Waikanae is a beach settlement on The Kapiti Coast, 45 minutes drive north from the Capital City, Wellington. It has a mild climate with the nicest weather from November though to May. There is a good village, restaurants, cafes and 3 golf courses within a 20 minute drive from our home. There are great bush or beach walks. We have bicycles and golf clubs for your use.
Our home is a 1 1/2 acre paradise. Very private, with all day sun and over looking park-like garden with a pond. Behind the house is New Zealand native bush which is a paradise for New Zealand birdlife, We also have a bird sanctuary next door.
