We live in the center of Madrid, next to Plaza Mayor. It is a historical neighborhood with plenty of restaurants, theaters, local markets and bars. There is a supermarket just arround the corner. All major museums (EL Prado, Reina Sofia, Thyssen, etc.) are 15' walking distance. Very safe area. There's a Public bicycle station in front of the building and the subway is just 5' walking from our place.
