We had a fantastic holiday in Madrid! Communication and key exchange worked very well with Elisa. The apartment is very conveniently located, just a few steps off the Prado museum and has many local bars, shops and restaurants nearby with people having breakfast, sipping and chatting through the day! Sweets, fuets and wine were waiting for us as a welcome! We spent 10 days in total, but time was not enough to do and see all! We devoted 7 days to Madrid and did day trips to Toledo (Spain’s old capital), Segovia and Avila stopping at places like the Escorial. We explored the many sights these cities offer and joined the free tours with enthusiastic guides! As we travelled during Easter, we witnessed many Semana Santa processions. We exchanged homes and cars, both were returned to us in excellent condition. We are very happy about this exchange and want to thank the Fernandez Martinez family for the warm welcome and the great opportunity to get to know Madrid’s charming capital and its surroundings!

Our stay in Bonn has been very nice. The house has everything needed, and we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks a lot!

Elisa's quiet apartment in Bonn is in a perfect location for exploring the town either by walking, biking or by bus. The apartment is filled with light and a welcoming feeling. We enjoyed our stay and were easily able to explore much of Bonn as well as nearby towns, cities and a Rhine cruise. The gerbils were easy to care for and very friendly.

Die helle, freundliche Wohnung liegt perfekt ruhig und zentral in der Nähe des Poppelsdorfer Schlosses mit dem öffentlichen Botanischen Garten. Ich habe mich hier sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Einrichtung ist reduziert praktisch und gemütlich. Sehr gern habe ich abends den drei Gerbils/Wüstenrennmäusen in den beiden Terrarien zugesehen. Sie sind pflegeleicht und zutraulich, kommen beim Füttern sogar auf die Hand. Das war für mich eine ganz neue, schöne Erfahrung. TV und Radio habe ich nicht vermisst, hatte mein Tablet und das Smartphone dabei. Zurück in meinem Zuhause merke ich, dass ich hier auf vieles verzichten könnte. Die Reise nach Bonn hat sich für mich in jeder Beziehung gelohnt und ich komme sehr gern wieder. Danke Elisa!

Our holidays were really lovely. Madrid is a great city with many parks and cafés and bars and a lot of culture, too. Although it was very hot in August, we could do everything we wanted, there are enough spots to cool down (musea, shopping centre, parks). The appartement is down town, just some steps away from the Metro and Atocha Station and you can walk to the Prado and the Retiro Parc and even to the Plaza Mayor.
