We have been Homelink members since 2007 and have enjoyed 6 home exchanges. We are semi-retired authors with two sons who are adults and seldom travel with us. We love traveling, museums, food, history, cycling and long scenic walks. We have five year old dog, a Nova Scotia Duck Toller, who can be placed with friends during our exchanges.
Our last home exchange before Covid hit was in Ireland in 2018. It was a fantastic exchange with lots of hiking, good food and museums.

Descripción de la casa que ofrecemos en intercambio
We are experienced HomeLink members and have enjoyed 6 exchanges all over the world. We are semi-retired and have enjoyed all or our home-exchanges. Our home is a large, historic three-story home that is three blocks from Toronto's wonderful sandy beaches on Lake Ontario. The Beach, as our neighbourhood is known, is one of the most desirable communities in Toronto, a village within a big city. Coffee shops, book stores, antique stores, shops, two movie theatres and excellent restaurants are within walking distance. This is a family neighbourhood, lots of kids, dogs, joggers, cyclists and roller-bladers.
Downtown Toronto is 15 minutes by car, 30 minutes by streetcar. Toronto is a one hour drive from the magnificent Niagara Falls, and a few hours from some of Canada's best inns and resorts in the Muskokas, Georgian Bay and Haliburton lake regions.
Our family favorites are Toronto Island, Cycling out on the Leslie Street spit, the Riverdale Farm, the Ontario Art Gallery, Royal Ontario Museum and the city's cosmopolitan restuaruants
