From our house it is a two minute drive, five minute bike ride and twenty minute walk into town where there are a number of cafes and restaurants to choose from. Mexican, Japanese, Thai, Chinese, Indian and Pizza are available in town. Ride your bike down for breakfast, lunch or just coffee and cake. We have a surprising variety of cuisine options for such a small town.

The Gold Coast is an easy 30 minute drive and is home to beautiful beaches, rivers, shopping and a bit further north are a number of theme parks, including Sea World, Movie World, Dream World and Wet'n'Wild.

30 minutes to the south lies the township of Byron Bay with its white-washed lighthouse standing at the top of Cape Byron, Australia's most easterly point. Byron Bay's beaches are very safe and known around the world for their natural beauty.

Cyclists of all standards enjoy our region as it offers a variety of challenges. For a relaxing ride, bicycle paths follow the coastline and it is never too far to find a local coffee shop.
