Descripción de la casa que ofrecemos en intercambio

Our home has beautiful water views over Moreton Bay and all exchange partners in the past (12) have been amazed at our wonderful weather in Brisbane.

Enjoy waterfront strolls, fishing, boating, local markets, and many excellent restaurants within a five-minute walk. Explore the art galleries of Brisbane and wander the many parks.

Why not take a ride on the city ferry up the Brisbane River, hop off, and visit the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary to feed and enjoy a close-up experience with koalas and kangaroos?

Our home is large with two King Size bedrooms both with ensuites on the first floor and a queen-size bedroom, and two single beds on the lower level sharing another bathroom. There is plenty of room for friends or family to join you.

Both the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast beaches and hinterlands are only an hour away offering endless white sandy beaches and tourist attractions. We supply a large range of brochures and tourist suggestions covering the southeast Queensland region and Moreton Bay Islands for your stay. Whether you enjoy bush walks, city sights, or endless beaches the opportunities are endless.

OR .... simply relax on the front verandah overlooking the bay and enjoy the views.

Our home is a mere 3 minute walk to the local supermarket, bakery, butchers, pharmacy and newsagency which is really convenient. Also, the waterfront is only a 5 minute walk away. There are two yacht clubs at the bottom of our street if you enjoy sailing (we do). Manly is approx 30 minutes drive or train to Brisbane City but we all enjoy what the locals call "Manly Village".

Manly is a beautiful bayside area of Brisbane with amazing water views from our front patio. Enjoy many walks along the foreshore boulevarde. There is easy rail access to Brisbane city and Southbank Parklands. Cruise on the Brisbane City Rivercat ferries to explore the Brisbane River with a ticket to enjoy the many stops including Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. If you enjoy a game of golf, Wynnum Golf Club is approx. a 10 minute drive from our home.
