We are a retired/ semi retired couple. We moved to Sydney in mid 2012 from Cairns in far North Queensland. We enjoy good health and fitness and like to get out & about.
We both enjoy good movies and music (classical, jazz, folk). We are involved in Bushcare at our local Artarmon Reserve, attend a nearby gym a few times each week, volunteer for the Sydney Festival each January and the Sydney Film Festival in June.
We have 2 adult daughters. Elizabeth lives in Cambridge, England and Allison in Melbourne, Australia.

Our apartment is available for exchange or non-simultaneous exchange. We prefer exchanges of a few days to 2 weeks only.
This is a 2 bedroom apartment, with 2 balconies, in a block of 12 units. We have a study area, and a separate internal laundry. Six minute walk to Artarmon Village with reasonable shopping and services, and very good restaurants. It is twenty minutes to Sydney by public transport - beaches, shopping, museums, restaurants, live entertainment etc.
Easy access to Blue Mountains heritage area, Canberra and Hunter Valley Wine area. The apartment is a great place to relax, and enjoy reading our novels or watching some of our 600 DVDs.
Wifi available for all your wifi toys.
We are close to the major Chatswood and Lane Cove shopping centres (15 minute walk or short drive), .
Our apartment is on the bottom floor of a 3 storey apartment block of 12 units. We back on to a Sydney Water reserve and find the apartment very peaceful and quiet.

Quiet neighbourhood. Handy to transport. The major shopping centre of Chatswood is 1.3 Km, Lane Cove is the same distance in the opposite direction. There are good hiking trails in the area, quite a few restaurants and cafes and several gyms. The activities listed are for Sydney.

From our apartments it is a 5 minute walk to the bus, 6 minutes to Artarmon Village where you will find the the train station, cafes, restaurants, small supermarkets and a gym. The Artarmon Reserve is just across the railway line. There are good bushwalks from there down to the Harbour. It is a twenty minute trip to Sydney by public transport - beaches, shopping, museums, restaurants, live entertainment etc. Sydney city has many cultural attractions - museums, galleries, theatres and the iconic Opera House. Further afield is the Central Coast, the Hunter Valley wineries and the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains.
