Our Guest Book

  • A home to relax in a calm area

We spent some unforgettable days with Jenny and Brian in their lovely, tastefully furnished house and their wonderful garden. The area is very quiet and well-kept. We visited the gorgious garden Stellenberg, just a 5 minutes drive away, as well as the Waterfront and the City. The great thing above all was the warm welcome and having wonderful breakfast together with them. They are utmost friendly and kindhearted, we loved to be there. It was a great pleasure to meeting also their son Brent who spent a few days there. It was the first time for us to make a non-simultaneous exchange and we were pleasantly surprised. We are looking forward to meeting them in August in our house. Many thanks to you, Jenny and Brian, you made our holidays to something special to remember.

  • Amazing exchange !

We were wonderfully welcomed at Jenny and Brian's. Jenny has prepared a beautiful Bobotie. Brian kindly gave us a tour of the area, so we could spot easily. Everything was ready on our arrival, the cozy bed, the fire in the wood stove, the slippers flew, in short enough to feel at home. The house is located in the quiet neighborhood of Claremont, 15 minutes from the center of Cape Town. The city and the region are beautiful, probably the most beautiful city in Africa! The wine, the kindness of the people, the incredible natural setting of Table Moutain, make that we spent 2 unforgettable weeks, in the residence of Brian and Jenny.

  • An Amazing Home in a Wonderful Location!

We absolutely loved our home exchange with Brian and Jenny! Rather than a typical "pass in the night" exchange, Brian met us at the airport in Cape Town and the two of them fixed us a wonderful dinner which provided us an opportunity to ask questions in person. They could not have been better hosts! The house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac yet near to shopping and restaurants. We like walking, so we usually walked to one of the three major local groceries and to some of the wonderful restaurants in the neighborhood. During our stay in Cape Town, we made trips down the cape to the Cape of Good Hope as well as north to beautiful West Coast National Park that was in full bloom. We loved exploring Cape Town as well as the many small towns of the region. It can get quite chilly in Cape Town in the winter, but the wood burning stove in the Harris' home kept of warm on cool evenings.
