  Nous avons eu des relations sympathiques et chaleureuses avant, pendant et après l'échange. La maison de Bordeaux est très agréable, spacieuse, confortable et bien située, assez près du centre mais dans un environnement calme. Le petit jardin de ville est un plus pour déjeuner/dîner à l'extérieur Nos partenaires d'échange ont pris soin de notre appartement. Nous referons volontiers un échange avec Frédéric.

  A wonderful week in a cosy home in a great city! Very lucky about this exchange! A wonderful starting point to explore Bordeaux and then relax on the beautiful terrace with a glass of wine and start the evening with a nice dinner. Great: a garage for the car and very close supermarket, bakery, cheese store! Un merveilleux point de départ pour explorer Bordeaux, puis se détendre sur la belle terrasse avec un verre de vin et commencer la soirée par un bon dîner. super : un garage pour la voiture et très proche du supermarché, de la boulangerie, du magasin de fromage !

  It was a delight to get to know the vibrant and historical Bordeaux staying at Frederic and Silvianne's echoppe, a warm and welcoming home in which to enjoy a pleasant dinner after visiting all the historical sites that the city offers. Thanks for the food and drink recommendations, they are the most amazing oysters I have ever eaten. It has been a gift to have you as exchange partners

  Our first visit to Bordeaux was a very pleasant one. We enjoyed the great historical architecture, all kind of museums, its romantic parks, sightseeing tours on the riverbank of the Garonne, and cosy places to taste "la cuisine bordelaise" with a glas of the famous Bordeaux wine. Bordeaux´s surroundings are unique: St. Emilion´s vineyards, Arcachón and the dune of Pyla, and a large numberr of stunning places gave us a wonderful insight into nature. During the whole stay at the house of Frédéric and Sylvianer we felt very comfortable. Their location is close to the next tram station that you really don´ t need a car for visiting the city.

  C’était un vrai plaisir de pouvoir passer une semaine chez Frédéric et sa famille à Bordeaux. Nous avons trouvé la maison très confortable avec tout ce qu’il fallait pour un agréable séjour. La maison a beaucoup de caractère et les deux étages nous ont donné énormément d’éspace. On a bien apprécié les deux salles de bains et les toilettes! La terrasse est charmante et on a profité du soleil matinal pour prendre le petit déjeuner à l’extérieur. Le quartier est très paisible avec des commerces et l’arrêt de tramway juste à côté. C’est un quartier très historique avec des maisons qui sont bien particulières à Bordeaux et très jolies. J’ai bien aimé parlé avec Frédéric pour planifier les séjours et il était toujours très serviable pendant notre visite pour répondre à la moindre question. L’amitié continue même après être retournés en Angleterre – on partage des blagues et des astuces linguistiques! Nous sommes tout à fait ravis d’avoir fait cet échange. Merci beaucoup et il va sans dire que vous êtes la bienvenue à Londres! It was a real pleasure to be able to spend a week in Frédéric and his family's home in Bordeaux. We found the house very comfortable with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The house has a lot of character and the two floors gave us a lot of space. We really appreciated the two bathrooms and the toilets! The terrace is charming and we took advantage of the morning sun to have breakfast outside. The area is very peaceful with shops and the tram stop close by. It is a very historic district with houses that are very special to Bordeaux and very pretty. I enjoyed speaking with Frédéric to plan the stays and he was always very helpful during our visit to answer any questions. The friendship continues even after returning to England – we share jokes and language tips! We are very happy to have made this exchange.
