• Warm & Cosy London Flat

  Nancy & Geoff’s home is everything you want a London flat to be! Personally I love multiple comfy couches (check), cosy kitchen - with fireplace! (check), tranquil garden (check), amazingly cosy bed (check) and cuddly snuggly furry friend (check)! And Blackheath was a beautiful gem of a neighbourhood - and just a short train ride to London Bridge, Waterloo or Charing Cross. Nancy was also amazingly helpful with advice beforehand - especially for the local line of sight on Coronation events - and left my own condo in TO spotless on return. The best exchange!

  We had a great long weekend at Nancy & Geoff's place! The flat was even more cozy than the pictures shown in the listing, with beautiful paintings, colorful rugs and carpets and well filled bookshelves that added to the warm and stylish atmosphere. Because of the winter season we didn't use the garden but we can imagine the green space behind the flat is a comfortable place too in the spring and summer. Kitchen and bathroom were comfortable with a woodturner in the kitchen. The area was calm and very nice close to Lewisham station for trains and DLR with direct connection to London Bridge, Canary Wharf and further into the heart of London. Greenwich and Blackheath were at walking distance. Before and during our exchange, staying in touch with Geoff and Nancy was easy and very friendly. Thank you, Geoff and Nancy for this wonderful exchange!

  It was a beautiful exchange. London as always was a fantastic city. We did not know this area of ​​the city. We were very impressed with Greenwich Park. In some moments it seems almost like walking in a forest but in central London. Very nice typical English house. In the back a nice garden. We would almost like to do another exchange.
