  We gladly accepted the unexpected exchange offer to go to Provence during the winter holidays. Communication with Isabelle was nice, engaging and pleasant. We were very happy to receive a tarte. The beautiful family home is situated in a beautiful hilly area. There is a lot to do. Markets are nice near Gardanne or further afield in Aix en Provence. We climbed Mont Julien. We hiked a high-altitude route in the Calangues National Park. We climbed to the Sainte Madeleine grotto and even higher to the Saint Pilon chapel on the Sainte-Baume massif. On all mountain hikes you should be aware that the wind can be very strong. From Cassis we chose a boat tour in 8 calangues. It's very worth it! Fortunately, we already had the experience that weatherproof clothing makes sense. It quickly gets cold, windy and wet at sea. Our partner city Aix-en-Provence could not be missing from the program. A good traffic solution through Park&Ride car parks (f.e. Krypton) in front of the city center with a direct bus connection to the center. In the footsteps of Paul Cezanne: We walked from the center to the Atélier de Cezanne, for which we had previously booked a slot to visit. One kilometer higher, up the road, is the "Terrain des Peintres". Up there the beautiful view of the Saint-Victoire. When we came home in the evening, the two cats were already waiting for us. They are completely uncomplicated. And when we returned to Tübingen, everything was top. Many thanks to the whole family. We enjoyed every day in your home. • Comfortable House

  Provence is beautiful and the house is very comfortable. Swimmingpool is nice at the end of the day but we loved the outdoor kitchen. Isabelle & Sebastien are lovely and helpful people.

  We really enjoyed our time at your home. We loved the pool and garden, and all the surrounding areas - great beaches in Cassis. It was wonderful to meet your friends too. Thank you for leaving us the vegetables - the boys loved to pick these in the evening. A brilliant experience - thank you. :-)
