  Isabelle en Bart ontvingen ons hartelijk in hun aangename landelijke woning, die veel ruimer bleek dan je op het eerste gezicht zou denken. Er is plaats voor 6 volwassenen en 1 baby. De tuin met fazanten, poezen en een badmintonplein is ideaal voor ravottende kinderen. De streek is lichtjes heuvelachtig en ideaal voor fiets- en wandeltochten, al dan niet langs verharde wegen. Het machtige Meerdaalwoud en de aangename stad Leuven zijn binnen het halfuur met de auto bereikbaar. Ik kan deze plek bij iedereen sterk aanbevelen. Een bewijs daarvan is dat onze kleinkinderen er nog veel langer wilden blijven. Toen we weer thuis kwamen vonden we ons huis was minstens even netjes als toen we het verlieten. Isabelle and Bart received us warmly in their pleasant country house, which was much roomy than you would think at first sight. They can lodge 6 adults and 1 baby. The garden - with pheasants, cats and a badminton court - is ideal for active children-pet lovers. The region is slightly hilly and appropriate for cycling and hiking, whether along paved or unmetalled roads. The mighty Meerdael Forest and the interesting city of Leuven can be reached by car within half an hour. I highly recommend this place to everyone. When we came home, we found our house at least as tidy as when we left it. Isabelle et Bart nous ont accueillis chaleureusement dans leur agréable maison de campagne, qui était beaucoup plus spacieuse qu'attendu. Ils peuvent loger 6 adultes et 1 bébé. Le jardin - avec des faisans, des chats et un terrain de badminton - est idéal pour les enfants actifs, amies des bêtes. La région est légèrement vallonnée et appropriée pour le cyclisme et la randonnée, que ce soit le long de routes pavées ou non. La forêt sensationnelle de Meerdael et la ville intéressante de Louvain se trouvent à moins d'une demi-heure en voiture. Je recommande cet endroit vivement à tout le monde. Quand nous sommes rentrés à la maison, nous l'avons trouvée au moins aussi bien rangée et propre que lorsque nous l'avions laissée. Il giardino - con fagiani, gatti e un campo da badminton - è ideale per i giovanni attivi e amici degli'animali. La regione è leggermente collinosa e idoneo al ciclismo e a fare passeggiate, sia su strade sterrate o bianche. La foresta sensazionale di Meerdael e la città interessante di Leuven sono raggiungibili in mezz'ora (in macchina). Posso consigliare vivamente questo posto a tutti. Quando siamo tornati a casa, abbiamo trovato la nostra casa almeno ordinata come quando l'abbiamo lasciata. Isabelle y Bart nos recibieron cálidamente en su agradable casa de campo, que era mucho más espaciosa de lo que se podría pensar a primera vista. Pueden alojar a 6 adultos y 1 bebé. El jardín, con faisanes, gatos y una cancha de bádminton, es ideal para los hijos activos y amantes de mascotas. La región es ligeramente accidentada y apropiada para el ciclismo y el senderismo, ya sea a lo largo de caminos pavimentados o no. La selva fenomenal de Meerdael y la ciudad interesante de Lovaina se encuentran a menos de media hora en coche. Puedo recomendar este lugar a todos. Cuando llegamos a casa, la encontramos al menos tan ordenada como cuando la dejamos.

  We loved the old farmstead in Bierbeek from the moment we came close. It is set at the end of a small road and surrounded by fields and meadows. When you want to get a peace on your mind, that's where you need to be to watch the sheep graze as you glance out of their window, or to sit at the cosy terrace overlooking the garden. It seems very remote, yet within a 20 minutes drive we were able to reach Brussels over the freeway and the beautiful historic town of Leuven is only 15 minutes away. Although tempted by the great architectonical jewels in the vicinity we actually spent a lot of time around the house, enjoying the tranquility of the old times. The landlords are very friendly, as we were able to ascertain when we met at the end of our stay. We hope to be able to come back in the future!

  We stayed in Belgium, Bierbeek and we had a wonderful time. The family was a great host and the house was a lovely place to stay, near Brussels but surrounded by wild life! We 're grateful fot the fantastic hospitality that the family had with us. We were able to visit Brussels several times, and the most beautiful cities in Belgium, we also had the possibility of spending some days in the beach!Amsterdam was not so far so we were able to visit that too! A wonderful opportunity to visit such beautiful places in family!
