• A Great Trade Into Southern California

  Rita, another couple and I spent a wonderful 8 days at this fabulous Carlsbad California home. The home had everything that we needed for our stay and was meticulously clean and organized. At just 2-3 miles from the ocean, temperatures were very comfortable during the day and at night even while the rest of the southwest United States was experiencing heat emergencies. In fact, one of our favorite things to do at this home was to sit around the firepit in the cool evenings and watch the awesome sunsets over the Pacific Ocean while enjoying our evening cocktails. San Diego with all the things to do and see there is nearby. We visited the awesome San Diego Zoo on one day and then explored and had lunch at the world famous Hotel del Coronado on another day. Our ladies were especially enamored with the hotel indoor shops where the credit cards were pulled out more than once. We also visited the San Diego Zoo Safari Park in Escondido leaving in time to have a home owner recommended dinner at the nearby Cordiano Winery with its stunning view. We also did a walking tour of Carlsbad Village and could not get over how friendly the local residents were to us. We were going to have lunch at George's at the Cove in La Jolla but just ran out of time. I would grade this exchange A+ and thus highly recommend an exchange here with Claudia and RJ Weston.

  We loved having breakfast on the patio looking on to the mediterrean and the weather was perfect.
