This was extremely useful. Norway is just beautiful, everywhere is like a picture postcard. The parorama from the top in Alesund is stunning. We found it quite deserted at Easter as most people were away skiing and many attractions were closed, which was a shame, but the roads are so lovely and quiet to drive on. Stunning Alesund on the dramatic Norwgian coast
Dear Stale and Monica, Thank you so much for such a delightful exchange. You have a beautiful house with such wonderful views over water and mountains. Exchanging our cars was great and enabled us to explore the area. We loved Alesund and everything the area had to offer. The natural environment in Norway is incredible, whilst there we: - Viewed Alesund from the top of the 400+ steps - Went to the design museum - Walked to highest point on the Island of Runde - Went on a cruise in the Fjords - Caught and ate some fish - Ate some Elk - Walked to the top of the mountain behind your house and visited the lakes (amazing views). - Saw a sea eagle and plenty of other wildlife - Went by sea on the Hurtigruten ship to Tronheim - Saw the Northern Lights!! - Made loads of wonderful walks and took great photos Thanks for everything.
